FOUNDER AI TRAINING
AI training for founders, built on your own business.
The foundation course for founders who want to use AI properly themselves, and the first step towards an AI-native company. In one session, on your own laptop and your own accounts, we build you a personal AI operating system that knows your business, connects to your email and calendar, and runs its first real job before we finish.
Led by Rhodri Williams, on Zoom, at your office or at ours in Cardiff. From £495 + VAT.
We work from our base in Cardiff, for businesses across Wales and the UK.
Trusted by ambitious businesses
What is one-to-one AI training?
Roddy Digital's one-to-one AI training is a foundation course for founders and business owners, run by Rhodri Williams on Zoom, at your office or at ours in Cardiff. You build your own AI operating system on your own work, then use it as the starting point for AI across your company. From £495 + VAT.
Who it's for.
You have tried ChatGPT or Claude. You probably use one of them most days, as a better search box.
What you have not had is someone beside you while you set it up properly on your own business, so it knows your offers, your customers and the way you write, and does real jobs without being re-briefed every time.
That is what this session is for. It suits founders and owner-managers of businesses with roughly five to fifty people who want to feel the gain themselves before asking their team to change how they work.
It is a good fit if:
- your inbox, quotes, proposals and follow-ups all run through you
- you re-explain the same context to AI every time you open it
- you want your team on AI eventually, and would rather go first
- you want more AI across the company, but you do not yet use it properly day to day yourself
It is a poor fit if you need a formal qualification, or you would rather someone built the automations for you. For the second, see our AI and automation service.
Want an AI-native company? It starts with you.
Talk about AI in business soon turns to transformation, and to becoming AI-native: AI built into how the work gets done every day, across every team.
That change starts at the top. A founder who uses AI properly every day knows which jobs it can take, how to brief it and where it needs a human check. A founder who has only dabbled is guessing, and the team can tell.
Ask yourself honestly:
- You want more AI in the business, but you still use it as a search box yourself.
- You have paid for AI licences or tools, and the team uses them in patches, if at all.
- You could not say today which three jobs in your business AI should do first.
- You would struggle to brief a developer or an agency on an AI build, because you have not felt it work on your own week.
If two or more of those ring true, this is for you. It is a foundation course: it gets you using the basics properly, on your own work, and gives you the base the rest of the company builds on.
The foundation for everything after it.
Think of this course as the entry route. What you build in it carries straight into the next two stages.
01
You.
This course. Your own AI operating system, used every day, so you lead the change from experience.
02
Your team.
The context files you write become the company's shared brief, your skills start a team library and your approval rules become a one-page AI policy. Then a team foundations session, and a personal set-up for anyone whose week runs on repeat tasks.
03
Your systems.
Once people use AI daily, the jobs worth automating are obvious. That is where our AI and automation work comes in: workflows, agents and platforms built around how your business already runs.
What you leave with.
- Your own AI operating system. One folder on your machine holding a master brief and context files about you, your business, your customers, your offers and your voice. Plain files you own and can take to any AI tool.
- Live connections to your email, your calendar and one business tool, set to ask your permission before anything is sent, spent or published.
- A first job done on the day, picked from something actually due that week.
- A skill: a written process for a task you repeat every week, such as a quote, a proposal or a client update, run on real work. (Half day and full day.)
- A 30-day plan built around three recurring tasks, written into the system so it remembers.
- The recording, a transcript and a one-page summary within two working days.
How it works.
01
A 20-minute call.
We look at your week and which format fits. If one-to-one is not right for you, we will say so.
02
Ready before the day.
A short questionnaire (your offers and prices, your customer types, three emails you are proud of) and a set-up checklist: a paid Claude plan, the desktop app and access to your email and calendar. We draft your first brief from it, so we start from a draft rather than a blank page.
03
The session.
Your laptop, your accounts, your hands on the keyboard. We open on your real week and pick the first job from something that is due. No slides.
04
After the session.
Recording, transcript, summary and 30-day plan within two working days, then a 30-minute check-in call to fix anything that has drifted and add one more skill.
Six modules, one system.
Each format is a cut of the same six modules. The longer the session, the further down the list we get, and every module ends with something built.
01
From chat to agents.
The difference between asking a question and setting a goal. Your first agent task, run live on a real job.
02
Context.
A raw AI is a capable stranger. You write down who you are, what you sell and how you sound, once, in files you own.
03
Tools.
Your email, calendar and one business tool connected, read-only or approval-first to start.
04
Skills.
The process you would hand a new starter, written once so you never re-explain it.
05
The operating system.
One folder, one master brief, and a memory file that learns from every correction.
06
The workday and the habit.
A real workday run inside the system, your inbox triaged on a schedule, and a 30-day loop to make it stick.
Three formats, one curriculum.

Why is there a founding price?
One-to-one training is a new format for us. The first founders to take it get the half day at £695 instead of £895, and in return we ask for a short recorded testimonial after your 30-day review, so the next founder can hear how it went from someone like them. There are two founding places left.
Why learn this from Rhodri.
Rhodri has been in sales and marketing for more than twenty years. Sales came first, including time as a sales coach at the AA from 2005, so coaching people to work differently is where he started. Then came marketing, usually with business development running alongside it, and fifteen years in websites and digital marketing. Before founding Roddy Digital, Rhodri spent over a decade delivering digital work agency side for brands including Vodafone, Airbus and Universal Music Group. Today he runs Roddy Digital as an AI-first agency in Cardiff.
More to the point, he runs his own business on the system this session teaches. Every weekday morning an agent writes, illustrates and drafts an article for this site, then emails him a summary so he can approve it with one tap. A weekly finance check and a Sunday planning run work the same way. In the session you see his set-up live, then build yours.

Questions founders ask.
Do I need to be technical?
No. The session is built for founders who use ChatGPT or Claude as a search box today. You need a laptop, a paid Claude plan, the Claude desktop app and access to your email and calendar. We explain each step in plain English and you do the typing, so you can repeat it on your own afterwards.
Is this a beginner course?
It is a foundation course, pitched at founders who use AI a little and want to use it properly. If you already run agents and skills every day, the full day is the better fit, or talk to us about training your team or building the automations for you.
Why do you build in Claude?
Claude's desktop app can run agents, connect to your tools and run scheduled tasks, which is what this training is built on. Everything you create lives in plain files you own, so your context and skills come with you if you later move to ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini.
Where does the session happen?
Wherever is easiest for you. On Zoom, recorded so you keep every step; at your own office, so we build on the machine and set-up you use every day; or at our office at 11-13 Penhill Rd, Pontcanna, Cardiff. You choose when you book. Travel costs may apply for sessions at your office, particularly outside South Wales, and are agreed before you book.
Is my business data safe?
You build in your own accounts, on your own machine, and the files stay with you. Every connection starts read-only or set to ask your permission before anything is sent, spent or published, and we agree together what should never go near an AI tool, such as bank details.
What about my team?
Founders go first because they hold the context and set the habit. Once your own system is running, the team can follow: a team foundations session, a personal set-up for anyone whose week runs on repeat tasks, and monthly coaching. We plan that on your check-in call.
Is one-to-one AI training funded in Wales?
Our one-to-one sessions are not an accredited qualification, so do not assume Welsh Government funding applies. If funding matters to you, ask Business Wales about the Flexible Skills Programme before booking, and we can talk through the options on the call.
